About me…

I’m a change leader, author and strategic communications professional with 20+ years of experience revitalizing operations, launching initiatives and creating content that builds global brands.

A Mandarin speaker, I have worked in 20 countries and have special expertise in Asia, especially the Greater China region.

My career began as a foreign correspondent for one of the world’s biggest news agencies. I focused on covering the rise of China – perhaps the most important story of our age.

For the past decade, I have worked in strategic communications in the higher education, global development and business nonprofit sectors.

In 2020, I went on book leave to finish a memoir about how cycling helped make me a better storyteller and deepened my understanding of China. My manuscript is in the final phase of editing, and the book is scheduled to be published by Camphor Press in late 2022.

I currently serve as the director of corporate communications and government affairs for Orion Engineered Carbons, a leading global specialty chemicals company.
